Montgomery Presents

Welcome to the world of Montgomery Presents, the dedicated strand of work at The Monty which is committed to curating high-quality touring shows designed especially for children and young people. At the heart of Montgomery Presents is our mission to bring the magic of live performances to the local community, creating memorable and engaging experiences for young audiences. Our carefully crafted programme ensures a diverse selection of shows that captivate, inspire, and entertain, fostering a lifelong love for the arts.

Accessibility is key for Montgomery Presents, with most shows featuring a pay-what-you-decide or low-cost pricing structure to ensure that these cultural experiences are within reach for all families. As we journey through 2024, our programme is set to expand, offering an even more extensive array of captivating performances for the young and the young at heart. External project funding often supports this programme, enabling us to continue bringing the joy of theatre to our community and fostering a vibrant cultural landscape for generations to come. Join us at labelled ‘Montgomery Presents’ performances for a celebration of imagination and creativity through the magic of live performance.

Upcoming Shows from Montgomery Presents

There are no upcoming events at this time.
Big Imaginations began in 2013 as a collaboration between several venues in the North of England, all sharing a common goal: to make high-quality children’s theatre accessible and enjoyable for families.

In this strand, we have recently presented shows such as Curious Investigators, Errol’s Garden and Grandad Anansi. We often work to get external funding to keep these ticket prices affordable, and to bring our Healthy Holidays, Family Fun Days and Youth Theatre of Sanctuary members to these performances – because we think it’s important that every child and young person can access fantastic theatre productions that can open hearts and minds. If you have a group of children, or you are a group of young people, who might like to attend a performance please email info@themontgomery.org.uk
